Tools We Built on the Road

Every tool on this page started as something we needed ourselves — a departure checklist we kept as a messy list in Eric’s iphone, a recipe list we can’t easily share with friends. They’re free, they run in your browser, and they’re yours to customize. New ones show up here as we build them.

Trip Checklist

Eric was tired of using a physical list or a google sheet, so he built his own lightweight HTML app which caches in your browser.

With it you can build your own departure and packing list, check items off as you go, and pick up right where you left off. Save it to your phone, laptop, or iPad, clear it and re-use it. Little RV moves to the right to show your completion percentage!

Recipe Keeper

We were tired of trying to figure out how to share our recipes with people by posting them on Facebook which not everyone uses, or posting on Instagram where not everyone goes, or emailing or the like. This way they’ll survive the move from house kitchen to RV galley and won’t be hitting you with advertising, popups, or spam! Searchable, shareable, and no cookbook shelf required.

Hand Foot & Toe Score Sheet

Keep score for Hand, Foot & Toe right from your phone or tablet — no math required. Just tap the checkboxes for the books you’ve melded, type in your extra points and any cards left in your hand, and the app adds it all up for you, round by round. Your scores stay saved even if you close the browser, so you can pick right back up mid-game. Tap the “Reset game” button when you’re ready to start a fresh one.We were tired of trying to figure out how to share our recipes with people by posting them on Facebook which not everyone uses, or posting on Instagram where not everyone goes, or emailing or the like. 10's Are Wild Score Sheet & Rules

Keep score for our house card game right from your phone — no app, no paper, no math. Add your players, enter each round’s leftover-card total after every hand, and the scorepad tracks running totals for you, right down to the moment someone busts past 100 and the lowest score takes the game. To use it: tap Deal in & start scoring, add 2–6 players, then after each hand enter what everyone was left holding (10’s count 20, face cards count 10, everything else at face value — the player who went out enters 0) and hit Save round. Your progress is saved automatically in your browser, so you can close the tab mid-game and pick up right where you left off — and if you’re new to the game, tap Read the rules or grab the printable PDF right from the top of the page.
